Barnardo’s Fundraising

Dr Barnardo was an iconic figure in the Victorian era. He was responsible for ensuring street children had a place to stay and were given an education. We were incredibly thankful for his work, and so decided to raise some money for the charity, Barnardo’s, who are celebrating their 150th anniversary this year. The children in Primary 6 made a cross-stitched cushion and a clay tile (based on the work of William Morris, a famous Victorian artist). This, along with our collection boxes, Primary 6 raised almost £150 for this fabulous charity.
We would like to take this opportunity to everyone who contributed to our collection.
