Burns Poetry Competition

All of the pupils in Primary 7a worked extremely hard to learn the Burns poem, ‘To a Louse’. We really enjoyed analysing each of the verses of the poem as Burns observes a louse climbing up onto the top of a lady’s fancy bonnet! Burns good use of humour is very evident in this poem!
It was very difficult to select our three finalists as the recitations were of such a high standard, however, a final choice had to be made and they are pictured below.
