Finnieston Cranes

One of the most famous sites along the River Clyde is the Finnieston Crane, otherwise known as the Stobcross Crane. We found out about the crane’s history, and then recreated our own cranes using art straws. We studied the shapes we saw within the structure, and talked about these shapes giving the crane strength.
We think our ‘Finnie Cranes’ look pure, dead brilliant!
