Paper Quilling

Paper quilling is the art of rolling, twisting and folding paper to make a picture or pattern. It was very popular in Victorian times and many people used this technique to decorate things within their home.
The children in Primary 6 decided to create their own paper quilling piece of art work. They chose whether they wanted to create a picture or simply make an attractive design. Some of the images included: whales, butterflies, unicorns and apple trees. It was a challenging activity which required a lot of patience and persevering. We are very pleased with the outcome of our work.
