Scottish Parliament Co-operative Learning

In order to learn about different aspects of the Scottish Parliament and related words, we took part in a Co-operative Learning activity, called a ‘jigsaw’. This required us to split from our home team to each research a different thing. As a result, we all became experts in these different parts. To help us learn and remember what we had learned, we read the information as a group, then discussed it, and finally made notes in the form of a mind map. We then joined back together with our home team and shared what we had learned. When the activity was over, we had all learned four things, rather than just one. Some of what we learn included:
-          devolution
-          devolved issues
-          democracy
This was something that we all enjoyed, and learning from each other was great! We were able to share our knowledge when we had our Scottish Parliament visit.
