Victorian School Art

When looking at the Victorian school, Primary 6 drew and painted an image of a Victorian school building. The focus of the lesson was on line drawing and proportions. Upon completion of the drawing, the boys and girls painted their school ensuring to use their knowledge on Victorian architecture. Using this, they were able to identify that the school should be a red sandstone colour and the decorative bargeboard could be, within reason, any colour. When we placed them on the wall, we thought it would be effective to put out slate writing among them. We are very proud of the results, and we hope you enjoy looking at them.
